FAQ

Why do I work in three month commitments?‍ ‍

In my experience, a three month coaching commitment creates space for transformation. During this time, clients move beyond surface level challenges and begin to understand patterns, strengthen emotional awareness, and develop practical skills they can carry forward in life. It provides the structure, continuity, and support needed for change that lasts well beyond our work together.

How often do sessions take place?

We meet twice per month for 50 minute sessions.

Why am I available between sessions?

I’m available via text or email throughout our time together for additional support, encouragement, or brief guidance. This helps clients feel connected and reassured in every day moments, not just during scheduled sessions. It’s not meant to replace sessions, but to reinforce progress and provide a steady sense of support throughout the coaching process.

What ages do I coach?

I work with individuals ages 12-25, supporting middle schoolers, high school students, college students and young adults. My coaching approach is tailored to each stage of life and meets clients where they are, offering age appropriate support that honors individual needs.

Is coaching Confidential?

Trust shapes the coaching relationship. Teens and young adults need to know that I’m on their side and that our time together is a safe space where they can speak openly and honestly. When parents are present during sessions, it can create a “two against one” feeling, making clients feel uncomfortable or reluctant to be honest. To ensure sessions are effective, I meet one-on-one with clients so they feel heard, supported, and fully able to engage in the coaching process.

The exception: If there are safety concerns or threats to harm themselves or others, I’m legally and ethically obligated to share information with parents and guardians.

Where do sessions take place?

I offer both in person and virtual coaching. When we meet in person, I like to choose an environment where my client feels comfortable and relaxed, this might be a coffee shop, a walk, or a basketball court. For families with busy schedules, or who prefer flexibility, virtual sessions are also available and work just as well.

What is your cancellation policy?

I kindly ask for at least 48 hours notice for cancellations. Sessions missed without adequate notice will be charged in full, as this time is specifically reserved for you.

What payment methods do I accept?

I accept V,enmo, credit card and cash payments. Payments are requested in full prior to the first coaching session. Credit card payments can be set up as automated monthly charges, making billing simple and consistent throughout the three month commitment.
